The first Cooks basher to bad mouth him outta townGood trade. Cooks was a luxury that failed in the super bowl. I’ll never forget that atrocious leap on 3rd down. Who the **** tries to leap when they need 1 yard and have 4.3 speed.
Elite deep threat and a great guy. Although outside of the deep ball, I was very underwhelmed with him as a WR. Mainly regarding his ability after the catch. For some reason everyone hated cooks when he here.
Great value for pats though
I'm not saying it's a bad trade, but regarding what you said in bold.... you have got to be kidding.Dorsett can do what Cooks does for substantially less money, guys like Riley McCarron can make the team now.
Our GM is wicked smart...
Holy cow. I didn’t expect this to happen because it didn’t make any sense for his value to be higher on $8M/1yr than $10M/2yrs. Somehow, his value went up.
If Dorsett could play like Cooks he would have done it by nowDorsett can do what Cooks does for substantially less money, guys like Riley McCarron can make the team now.

Cooks and a 4th for the 23rd overall, a 6th and $8.5m in cap relief.

Unfortunately, those weaknesses showed up on 2 glaring Super Bowl plays where he couldn't make that guy miss on 4th & 1 in open space, and some bizarre YAC running that resulted in getting knocked out.
