Then the Cordarrelle Patterson signing becomes kinda pointless.
For the kick returns?I think football could be dead in less then 10 years if they follow through with that
What is it that isn’t needed? People with consciences? People who wonder if something they spend money and attention on, directly harms long-term the very people we all cheer for? See...I call those people decent human beings. It’s nauseating to read all of the comments on this board over the past few months about football dying, or like the poster above who is beginning to feel bad for watching. They’re not the only one to state that. I’m sick of it. Message to everyone who thinks the sport is dying. Look at history and the changes that have been made. Calm down and walk off the ledge. To everyone that hates the violence of the game, won’t let their kids play, feel guilty for watching etc. Leave this message board, and walk away from football completely. We don’t need you.
If you can’t see the issue I’m having with people talking about how bad they feel about watching the sport and then comin to message boards to consume that sport, among the many other ways they no doubt support and consume that sport, I really ha e no idea what to say. My problem isn’t that people feel that way, my problem is that they don’t realllly feel that way. If they did, they would stop supporting it. If they really do feel that way, leave. Find a way to fix it, create a new sport. But stop coming here to complain about it.What is it that isn’t needed? People with consciences? Honestly that wasn’t clear at all from you first post...it is now. I understand where you are coming from. I don’t agree, because I think your thinking is too binary, but I do understand your point now. There are LOTS of things folks do, feel are wrong, and continue to do because it’s what they have always done. Football for many of us is a lifelong cultural thing...not easy at all to walk away.If you can’t see the issue I’m having with people talking about how bad they feel about watching the sport and then comin to message boards to consume that sport, among the many other ways they no doubt support and consume that sport, I really ha e no idea what to say. They need to stop trying to change the game and work on better equipment to protect players. Come on a multi billion dollar company can certainly do it.

This is what happens when a sport gets unbelievably popular. You get the pink hatters who come in and start demanding **** be changed. Get rid of this. Get rid of that. It's unsafe. blah blah blah.
