IDK. Seems doubtful to me.

Seems more like the 'Boys are wising up and upgrading their backup OL in general, with Martin for IOL positions and Fleming for OT.

Think what you might about Fleming, but he really is an upgrade over the dreck they had for backup OT in 2017. Yes, it was THAT bad.

With some health at defensive back and linebacker, Richards would be totally irrelevant, other than on special teams, where he does well.

That being said, I's like to see us draft a safety for the future (who would be inactive in almost all games). Beating out our top 3 for reps will likely not (and should not) happen for a rookie.

You know, he’s probably a bright guy, giving all the right answers in film study and at practice but he can’t get it done in games.

Send him with next year’s conditional 3rd pick and we’ll get the Lion’s 4th rd pick. Conditional in that if he continues on his current trajectory, the lions get the higher of our 3rd picks and if he has better results in the Motor City then they receive the lowest of the 3rd comp picks. Yeah it’s only a few spots but it’s the thought that counts.
