Fleming expected to sign with Dallas.

Taking Waddle over Fleming any day. Fleming was the better run blocker but required too much help in pass pro. There was a reason why the team almost traded him away last year.

Fleming is what he is, an adequate back up tackle. For the Cowboys that would be a serious improvement, their backups were an outright disaster last season. I wish him good health and prosperity going forward, just not too much luck on the field because Dallas is a clown show.

Liked Fleming’s familiarity here. Thought he made a lot of progress over the last couple seasons.
I feel the same. Guess it all depends on the money given.

This could be a sneaky good signing for the Cowboys. Fleming has consistently gotten better and has been pretty durable.

Yeah, who were those backup "tackles", anyway? The looked like a couple of my old bowling buddies backing away from the foul line when they'd rolled a ball too much on the nose.

They’ll now be able to move La’El Collins back inside where he belongs.

Fleming should be a solid RT for them.

That's interesting considering two years ago their OLine was one of their strengths - their run protection was ridiculous. Depth is power.

I hope it wasn't "hard coaching" that caused him to leave. Oh, that's right, it's only our "planet players" who are "miserable" here...poor muffins...

Great teams build deep rosters with an eye towards the present and the future. Mediocre ones go with bowling buddies behind their starters until it bites them, then react to what's passed after it bites them. The Cowboys have been among the most mediocre teams in sports ever since Jerrah put himself in charge of the on field product.

Agreed on that, but curious why Waddle was always behind Fleming on the depth chart throughout the season.
