c'mon...we all know how this movie ends...

more lonely walks down by the pond deep in contemplation...the Gholston Protocol

I was thinking that too about the Browns, but if they have these 3 QB's ranked close to each other then they may feel it's worth it to take the best player Barkley at 1, and settle for the last of the 3 QB's at 4. They had to be expecting Indy to part with that #3 pick anyway, I doubt this is catching them by surprise.

The Giants are the only possible last moving piece in the top 4 now. If they feel Eli has another 4 years in him, this trade proves how much they can get for that #2 pick and they could bite.

I think it can be reasonably assumed that the Giants are going QB, Manning is 37 and hasn't been an above average QB for a good few years now. This is by far the best chance they can reasonably hope to have for picking a blue chip QB prospect, so assuming they're high on at least one of these guys they almost have to take him at 2.

Based on that, if the Browns' goal is to come out of this draft with Barkley and a QB, the better option for them would be to take a QB at 1 and Barkley at 4, since then the'd get their pick of the QBs rather than the third choice.

They’ll blow it. I’ve got faith in them to take a awesome pick and some how screw it all up

I'm with aj; I don't think that Denver is going to draft a QB high in the draft. Elway thinks he has his franchise quarterback, although he might take a flyer later in the draft.

Who, Keenum? If Elway thought Keenum was a franchise QB, he would have signed him for longer than two years.

Doubtful. If they have Rosen/Darnold/Allen in mind it’s almost a guarantee they Browns, Giants and Broncos take them. It’s also very likely the Bills were going to offer the Browns a haul to move from 12 to 4 to get a QB.
Aside from the price the Jete paid being way too steep, you don't trade down from No. 6 to No. 3 banking on getting one of two top targeted choices. Pretty much after that, it's a tossup and not worth it. It's hard to justify giving away THREE second-round picks in this situation no matter how you slice it.

NFL Draft Value Chart

3rd - 2,200
6th - 1,600
37th - 530
49th - 410

The 6th, 37th, 49th add up to 2540. That does not even include a 2019 2nd round selection.

Jets acquire No. 3 overall pick of 2018 draft from Colts

Then again, this is a shambolic football organization that selected tight end Kyle Brady over defensive tackle Warren Sapp in the 1995 NFL Draft.

Maybe the jests got scared buffalo or another qb needy team jumps in front of them via trade. Guessing they have their guy and making sure they grab him at 3

When it's for a QB, those numbers mean nothing.

Interesting move

The Jets had to move up, in order to make sure there was still a top QB prospect left. You've got to figure that they are good with at least 3 of the top 4 QBs, too, or else this trade still leaves them hoping and praying.

Wonder if the jets were turned down by both Cleveland and NY in their efforts to move up?

cmon, the patriots passed on Jerry Rice
That's back when the organization was Jete-like. The Patriots have since evolved, the Jete haven't.

OK...I'll see your Jerry Rice and raise you 2 Blair Thomas's and a DeWayne Robertson...:p

Especially for that organization.
Wait a second -- you're claiming the Jete are more "organized" now than they were in 1985?

???

Nonsense!

The patriots went to the Super Bowl that year(1985), and lost in the divisional playoffs in the next (1986).
