Good player, Bill put him in a bad spot in the SB.

Love Chung, but honestly my first thought was exactly how much cap space does this free up?
I bet it won't really free up much. Maybe a mill? I think its just a matter of keeping him in the fold for the next two or three years because hes a damn good player.

Great news. Mostly about his continuing great level of play and durability. Also about Richards not able to replace him.

The benching of Richards in SB for Bademosi is likely to have more effects at this position this offseason. Id guess Richards will move to core ST (possibly in place of Slater as captain of the unit - he seemed to do so when Slater was out last seson) and the will give the #4S/HYB spot to somebody else. It will be interesting where they put Travis on depth/snaps chart at the beginning of TC. They tried again w Ebner at beginning of last TC but it didn't work out (possibly also bc of camp injury). Very possible also they bring another player - via FA or Draft (plenty solid also HYB options throughout the Draft) or both.

Ugh, don’t remind us. I will never understand or forgive the decision to ask Chung to essentially be a slot corner while giving meaningful snaps to Richards in the SB. This was a more egregious mistake than benching Butler, IMO. I love BB in a platonic way as much as anyone I know but his arrogance and stubbornness probably cost them that game.

Anyway....happy for Chung. Well deserved.

I’d like to see TB12 reduce that cap number. Yeah, I know...but if it’s really still about winning for him, that cap number doesn’t help the team do that.

Plenty of time, same goes for Dev mac. Both of those restructure could be around 8-12 mil

Cha-Chung....good to hear.

Any idea what date they have to do Brady restructure before to get cap savings for this season? I thought I read he gets guaranteed $ today or some type of pay.
