It's easy, and only takes a few moments. It could also be that they realized that they made a big mistake over paying for the guy. Might have had nothing to do with Crabtree, just wanted out of his contract. While I wouldn't put it past a team for doing that, I think that's a bit of a stretch. Of course an agent is going to say he's fine and could play tomorrow, because it helps to sell his client. Just as likely that Baltimore found something they weren't comfortable with, and wanted to renegotiate/move on.

I read an article on this yesterday. They were criticized heavily for the Grant deal. Cowards way out.It could also be that they realized that they made a big mistake over paying for the guy. Might have had nothing to do with Crabtree, just wanted out of his contract.
It will be interesting to see what the next team where he'll take the physical has to say.Agreed. Though in this age of reading between the lines and starting rumors that eventually become entrenched as facts by the mainstream media, I'd just like to say that, "I TOTALLY believe that they failed him on purpose, Mike!"
He’s aging, so it’d fit their MO of finding WR’s.Crabtree sucks, so that would be a bad move. Drops so many passes and gets so much OPI.
This is more than deserving of a Dikembe level curse. Now I hope Grant has a pro bowl year and the Ravens go all season without any of their receivers catching a TD.
They could also be in on Suh or Mathieu.

I would think that the NFLPA would also want to represent their member in this...Where’s the league office on this? If the pats did that to Kenny Britt right then and magically signed Crabtree, there would be a huge sting operation, media tip offs, leaks of disinformation etc

Could the Ravens have purposefully failed the guys physical because Crabtree suddenly became available?
If so, yet more hypocrisy on this teams part for being so called integrity filled.
