I didnt know he plea bargained down.
I certainly don't like that on the other hand I believe everyone deserves a second chance.
My wife worked with drug addicts and homeless so I do have perspective.

I'll leave it at that, rather than getting involved in this any further.

I think his post is simply worded unclearly. patsfaninpa says in his initial post on the topic that he "punched a dude," so I get the impression that he is talking about his plea with the 14 year old girl when he uses the phrase "the woman." He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for the high school incident and received probation, and received probation for the Punched A Dude incident.

Seems like the dude he punched was talking and it backfired. Poor judgment but I'm not too concerned about that. The incident with the girl is a bad look. Realistically what the Pats will be concerned with is whether or not his rookie season is the better indicator of his capabilities, or the lackluster performances that have followed are.
