If I’m understanding this correctly, if Mia. trades Suh post June 1st they take a 9.1M dead money hit this year but free up 17M in cap space. I don’t fully understand how that all works. Can Mia. trade him today with a post June 1st trade designation similar to cutting him, or would they have to wait till June 1st to get that designation? If they do get the savings now, then I don’t understand what they have to think about. Surely you could find a way to make 17M in cap space be more productive to Suh, and you get rid of his bad attitude.
