The question is that if we were to trade for Sherman, would it come with terms of a contract restructure (Sherman represents himself, so I would assume that there could be some wheeling).

Nobody in their right mind will trade for that contract when the player wont even be able to start running until around OTAs.

Unless the 49ers or Browns just want to stockpile talent with all the cap space they have.

The Seahawks most probably told him he will be released as soon as he can pass a physical. I guess it is in Shermans interest to be released sooner than later before the FA money dries up so I suppose it is doubtful he would file a grievance.
