Tom Brady TV Show? (mod edit: "Tom vs Time"

There will be an Episode 6, but the one they wanted.

They chose to release this series during a very high risk/high reward timeframe. That choice painted a target of sorts on their backs—well, mainly Tom’s back. They went to the big game and lost. Now it’s time to release the final episode that shows that occurring. It is what it is.

It sucks, but that’s the gamble they took. This nonsense of now putting it “on pause” because no one bothered to consider anything less than a happy SB win ending is a bad look for those involved, particularly the director.

Finally caught up tonight with episodes 2-5. This series is so well done, I could keep watching it forever. Tom Brady is incredible.

Smh. This reeks of "we're only gonna score 17 points?"
I don’t know if I’d go that far, but releasing episodes 1-5 in a fury of a short timeframe (sometimes days apart) during the postseason only to admit at the end that their entire “master plan” was nothing more than the idea of ending it all with a Pats SB victory most certainly makes them look a bit arrogant. No doubt about it.

No one considered any other possible outcome? An AFCCG loss? A SB loss? Now, they’re putting things “on pause” while they figure it all out? What the hell is there to figure out? They knowingly chose this platform and this timeframe, obviously realizing that it could make them look bad if they lost. Now, man up and put the final episode out that shows the competitiveness and fire that Brady put into the prep work and actual game, and the unfortunate heartbreak that comes with losing and dealing with the aftermath. What other option is there?

It was well done. Very enjoyable. I have a slight beef with how the ending was handled but I’d love to see more of this behind the scenes type of stuff.

I watched all 5 episodes the afternoon of the SB, because I knew I wouldn’t want to watch and re-live the disappointment if they lost. Kudos for being able to go through that, already.

I wouldn't call it arrogance, just optimism and faith. Preparing for failure doesn't fit the series narrative.

What he suggests and what he does are 2 different things. You want to nitpick, fine. Have fun with that.
No one's meaning to nitpick anything, especially something so trivial, but since we’re on the subject—how exactly, do you know “what he suggests and what he does are 2 different things?” Just curious.

Not that it matters that much, but my response to you is simply a continuation of the discussion that some were having regarding Brady’s suggestion on water intake, and it’s pretty much right there in black and white in the link that I provided to you. You also have the option of purchasing the book, but I’d kindly request a 10% finder’s fee. I have student loans. Tom is rich enough.
I don't see anywhere in that article where he claims to drink 300oz per day or recommends it. It says on particularly strenuous days he drinks up to that much but that's more like saying "on some days I drink that much."
Unless you feel that the title of the article is very misleading, I suppose we could start there.

For a guy who supposedly trains 4-5 hours a day on “non-gamedays,” I’m guessing that Brady may have a bit of a different take on what we may consider “strenuous.” It certainly sounds as though he’s strongly suggesting the idea of drinking mass amounts of water in order to stay hydrated on a fair portion of his days. What exact portion of those days may be is certainly up for debate, but if my lazy ass is knocking back 100 oz of water every day like it’s nothing, I’m going to assume that someone with a specialized diet, nutrition plan, and training staff is likely doing a bit more.

At any rate, maybe someone can ask Belichick and get a firm answer once and for all.

On a family vacation in Costa Rica, sitting next to your wife, who happens to be a supermodel, discussing a contentious topic (retirement), she remarks "I'm only his second love", and you don't flinch. THAT's what it takes to make a GOAT. :p

He was squirming through that whole interview... I thought it was hilarious.

What I'd give to be a fly on that wall AFTER the cameras turned off. :p

Though Giselle is just too nice. At the end of that segment when Brady was sweating under the collar, nervously knocking over a bottle and attempted a sheepish "Oops we're out of battery", she's like "Awrite I'll go get some more :(".

I agree with everything but this . . . they'd find a way to make Tom look the worst.

You mean the media and critics? No doubt.
