How can they demand blood? There was no signed contract, I wouldn’t think. Couldn’t be until NE’s season was over which was literally two days ago.

It's easy, and only takes a few moments. Not sure why everyone is freaking out saying Bill is leaving (or, incredibly, being fired)... it is likely much more simply that Kraft gave him a nice raise to stay in NE and Josh decided it’s better for his family. Beyond that, Josh is still quite young and he can easily afford to wait a few years for Bill to retire, especially if he’s being paid well.
Additionally, if Caserio intends to stay long-term, it makes sense for Josh to see how it’s sensible to remain here and work with him after Bill retires. Again, assuming he’s being paid well to do so.
“Omg I hate josh he sux!!!”
Did we not just watch him call a game where his offense SHREDDED a very talented Philly D? When his top receiver got knocked out extremely early on??
I mean damn, yes he has the GOAT QB but the guy called a really good game overall. How many other teams scored seemingly at will on Philly this season? With even an average defensive effort it would’ve been a hefty win in the other direction.
“Hey Josh what is Indy gonna pay you”Whatever Kraft told Josh, it obviously had something to do with Belichick's future. No way McDaniels makes this kind of sacrifice otherwise. He will never receive any head coach offers after this.
Is he currently under contract or is it a year to year type of deal?Dont fire BB, let him quit and hold onto his rights. If he wants to coach another team, that team should give us 3 first rounders!
Lol.So, did
McDaniels get the "coach in waiting" signal from Kraft?
Mrs. McDaniels decide that the family should stay put, and Josh caved?
The Kraft cash bump end up being enough to change McDaniels mind?
However it came down, you'll have to excuse me, but
Agreed but here's the question....do we want him as HC?? I'm not wild abut it, he does not strike me as a leader of men and his binky Brady will be gone.Josh Mcdaniels is our next HC within 3 years. He can never interview somewhere else again.
McDaniels play calling in the first quarter and half is a top 3 reason we lost that Superbowl.
I was so happy to see him go
This upsets me
That is wicked! Damnn............ I did not think he will do that. I did not like the idea of McDaniels in Indy. Whew. This may take me off the ledge a bit, just a little bit. I have almost lost it though.Colts Board is heaven right now!!!
Wow!! Definitely means Josh is the successor to Belichick because NO team will touch him after this fiasco coming on the heals of his flameout in Denver. Question is when is Bill leaving?
