I hated Jordan Richards even being ON the 53 man at the end of T.C.

So yeah, I want to know why BB starts HIM in the biggest game of the year over a PROVEN big game performer. There is a back story here that has yet to come out. On the surface it makes no sense.

He had a bad year. The possibility that that, coupled with his having to stay behind an extra day in Boston in the hospital and possibly bad performances in practice led to it. The point is we don't know, and the idea that Belichick just suddenly lost his mind or (my personal favorite) just had to prove how arrogant he is is beyond stupid.

I can buy that explanation why Butler didn’t start and they went with Rowe ahead of him.

We played Patrick Chung on Nelson Agholor! That’s a late Christmas present for Foles. Easy 30 yd gain. Badimosi gave up a huge 3rd down conversion because he couldn’t wrap up and make the tackle. Butler is one of the best tacklers on the team. Not having Butler there for those types of plays may have cost us number 6. Once it was clear we couldn’t make a stop he should have been given a chance, and he should have played before Badimosi and Richards.

I don't by the Belichick grudge conspiracy theories, but I think he needs to answer to why he waited until after warmups to decide that not playing Butler on Defense was the best option. If there was a good chance Butler wasn't going to start then he shouldn't have been getting reps in warmups it may have given others a chance to get things right.

Except we have multiple players saying they knew the entire plan going into the game. So this was not a last minute knee-jerk reaction.

The offense played good enough. The defense didn’t. Idk if having butler in there changes things but I’m pissed we didn’t get a chance to see if it would.

The TD to Foles should have been flagged for Illegal Formation. The receiver who started out at the top of the Screen was lined up 2 yards off the line, leaving the RT uncovered and only 6 people on the LOS..

Bill's the greatest coach in football history, but that was one boneheaded decision, and it'll be talked of the way Pete Carroll is talked of for failing to give the ball to Marshawn Lynch at the goal line. Prideful and wrong. And he could have changed it any time.

Totally wrong and the regular season and the usage of Richards in the very same sub packages is proof of that. But whatever works for the narrative.

Butler clearly wanted to help the team win. Crying during anthem that he just found out he wouldn't play, saying after the game he could have impacted the game

INEXCUSABLE to have Butler , your top cornerback and best tackling back, prepare all week including pregame warmups then just pull him right before kickoff.
