Tom Brady TV Show? (mod edit: "Tom vs Time"

Episode 4. This show is up there with GOT, The Office and Seinfeld for me. It has made me feel every emotion my body is capable of feeling. It has made me think about how I life my life and recognizing it for what it is. It has made me think of family and how much they mean to me. Just a great show.

There's one emotion that I'm hoping this show didn't make your body feel. If so, you have problems. :p:D

This was extremely uncomfortable to watch.

RE: episode 3 - felt like Brady was getting various pliability massages from Guerrero for like half the show. Kind of a strange thing to film, I guess. Feels private. I wonder how many hours / week Brady and Guerrero spend during a season doing those massages.

Have heard it said that Guerrero has intensely strong hands - definitely looks like a pretty uncomfortable process at times.

I honestly didn't even notice it. I felt like the episodes so far have flowed really well with the message the doc is trying to get across. This whole thing is about Brady and balance.

The balance of his personal life, and his professional life. the Balance of being a father, and being the best qb of all time. The balance of working hard, and keeping yourself loose.

It's progressing through the season and its talking about the injuries he "has" and its showing him getting work done on that body part(ankle, achilles).

So far these have been really well done

If you watched episode 4, there is a photo of brady and his dad in one of his rooms where his dad is kissing tom on the lips. I think it’s just a family thing.

I assumed that, but good lord. If you come from a family where sons don't kiss their dads on the lips, that's cringe-worthy.

depends on the family I guess, but I would assume it is fairly common for parents to kiss their young kids....and even more common in other countries
the kiss was cringe worthy Bigly...

Even if you don't have kids a bit of empathy is needed here. If you were Brady and you heard that some lemming on the radio called your kid out of their name, when all you are trying to do is open your life up to the world and show people how you live, how would you react? That is why people are so enamored with this. As well they should be.

Obviously he is free to say whatever he feels. But he is also free to reap the consequences of what he says.
"annoying" is less of an issue than "pissant". Pissant is a terrible word to describe a child.

Pissant "an insignificant or contemptible person or thing"... "worthless, contemptible"

Just awful

I don't even know what a pissant is lol. I figured it was equivalent to calling her an annoying little flea. Meh I don't care enough to argue whether it's a big deal or not I'll just leave it at that
piss·ant
ˈpisˌant/
USvulgar slang
noun
  1. 1.
an insignificant or contemptible person or thing.
adjective
  1. 1.
    worthless; contemptible.

One thing I never got.

If whatever Brady is doing works for him (which it is swimmingly), who the hell cares whether he gets this stuff from Alex G, Tony Robbins, Deepak Chopra, Richard Simmons, L Ron Hubbard, or whoever the heck else??!
Of course you should care who guides a person.. L. Ron Hubbard? I know you are joking but you are proving the opposite point from what you want to make. If Brady was getting great "guidance" from some cult leader, regardless of his results on the field.. the source matters.

As long as Brady remains clean and nothing illegal is going on with him and Alex, then Patriots have nothing to worry about. But whatever they are trying to advertise is not for the middle class and below.
I was mistaken in the beginning when I heard his cookbook was coming out, then I saw the price tag..
Also, many Doctors and nutritionists think Brady's advice in these areas are ridiculous. And don't say "look at his performance" that does not prove any of it. His own brain from believing it helps can drive him to success.

His recent comments about how much water a person should drink a day is ridiculous.

How is it hard-linked to the Patriots? No Kraft, no Belichick, no other Patriots player is even hinted at being mentioned.

Other than 'he plays for the Patriots', your contention is very specious.
"wrong"

He usually just incorporates something about the city or mascot into what amounts to be a pretty innocuous cartoon
When we beat the Falsons this year it showed Brady talking to a football falcon uniformed Bird with brady saying "Best 3 out of 5"?

lol

Belichick would, however, allow people to follow him around and document some of his day to day life for the explicit purpose of making a TV show that sheds some light into what makes him tick. We know this because he's done it. And in his case it even included a bunch of footage of him in the facilities, interacting with players, and even coaching and breaking down some film IIRC: A Football Life: Meet Bill Belichick

I can't really see how this somehow crosses lines that Belichick himself hasn't been crossing for nearly a decade.
the weirdness crosses the line

lol
And this is your example of how it’s not innocuous? I agree that they should’ve considered using the losses too, but I just don’t think that anything that has been featured could be taken as offensive.

@mosslost what's your problem man? Why the disagree when I posted that the episode had me tearing up?
