Ok cool. You all made your points. How cute. Gronk’s playing in the SB. We all know it. BB/TB are loose & feeling good. BB smiled I think 33 times in a press conference. Tom & Bill definitely have a sense/feel regarding Gronk’s status. Also, the locker room is loose & “likely” has a sense of his status. I'm guessing he'll be in stage 5 through Friday's practice, then cleared Saturday after the walkthrough and family pics on the field.

NFL needs to stretch this out, looking like they take concussions seriously.

K. Thanks, IIRC earlier this evening I heard the NFL Network say something about Gronk was still a limited participant in practice today although he did not wear a red colored jersey. Wonder if this is Belichick playing his games with the reporting details?

Nope. It just suggests confidence or misinformation, depending on how cynical you are.

The Vegas line jumped half a point this morning to 4 1/2, after opening at 6 and dropping to 4. I'm not a gambler, but this suggests to me that the money is starting to think he is playing. Somebody who knows more about this than do I posted last week that a non-QB impact player could be worth as much as a point in the spread. So, I'd look for the spread to go to 5 when and if it is formally announced that he is playing. But, I wouldn't bet more than a beer against the spread until it's clear.
