this is the first playoff run that im not nervous, b/c at this point my feeling is, its ok if they lose...not preferable obviously, ill still cheer and root for them and hope for a win, but if they lose? no big deal, we've won our share, so im good with either outcome at this point

cool as a cucumber this time

Is this a serious questions?! Of course I will be nervous, every Pats fan will! Win this game, and we are tied with Pitt for the most SBs ever?! Cmon on!!!!!!!!! Lose and the media along with America will celebrate and ridicule TB12 and the team for months.

What we have done is already far more impressive than the Steelers 6 titles. Only two of theirs came in the salary cap era. And we won all of ours with the same QB and coach. They had two completely different teams winning 5 and 6. I don't know what changed, But I can remember the Steelers being regarded as one of the cheapest teams in football in the 90s. As for the trolls I could not care less what they have to say. They will spew hate regardless. We could win the next ten and they still be spewing nonsense and calling us overrated cheaters.

I used to be nervous. Then during the afc championship I never felt nervous at all. I don’t think I’ll be nervous for this game mainly because I don’t think losing will hurt brady or belichicks or the teams legacy.

Eagles punked us in 2015 with a really bad team. Different coaches, but a lot of the same players on both sides. Another thing that makes me nervous is Philly's aggression and dynamic play calling. Similar to how KC came out against us in week one. Patriots looked really confused. I expect us to win. But I think it will be another close one. Which is the last thing I want. A nice little 14-0 start and 27-3 halftime lead and a coast to victory would be awesome. But it's the Superbowl. I would nervous if we were somehow playing the Browns.

Too bad it isn't a best of three. The Giants would have two less trophies.

I’m nervous before every Patriots game.

Not me. Water will find it's level. In a one game elimanation round the stakes are much higher. There is no guarantee the best team wins. 2007 is a perfect example. Giants shouldn't even have been on the same field with us. We waited way too long to adjust our offensive game plan.

I remember a sequence midway through that game when it was like 4th and 13 or something silly, we might have been in FG range or close and BB elected to go for it . I remember when it failed epically that I had that gut feeling this was not going to be our night. And sure enough I watched the rest in horror and we seemed to make zero adjustments.

Ghost's rookie year. He didn't trust him with a long FG into the wind. And we had the most explosive offense in the history of football. So I didn't hate the call. I didn't feel like we were going to lose until the Samuel drop. When the refs ignored every member of the Giants' offensive line holding on the play that should have been essentially the game ender, I knew we were going to lose.

There's no valid option in the poll for me. I'll probably be nervous until the game is truly out of reach. Having a big lead is not enough. If they have a big lead they need to keep advancing in the drive, and score more points until there's not enough time for the other team to score.

Im very nervous, but also very confident! I truly believe in this team and i truly believe in the GOATs TB12 and BB. My gut is telling me we're going to win this one.

GO PATS!!!

I can't even remember the last time Bill blew a big lead. That regular season loss against Denver a couple of years ago felt comfortable. But it was not a huge lead. But we lost Gronk and there was some really, really fishy officiating going on. If we are up 17 with the ball in the fourth I will be extremely confident. This team does not have the kind of mental breakdowns like so many other teams have in pressure situations. Not to take anything away from anybody. But that is a huge component in these giant comebacks. You really need the other team to implode a bit. Pats will not do that.

Not nervous yet , not even thinking about it. My nervousness will kick in sometime on Sunday around noon. Not looking forward to the 6 hours of waiting around before kickoff.

Don’t think there was any wind, was there?

The game was played indoors at the University of Phoenix stadium.

LOL! I guess not. I just figured. That was a long time ago. Don't have a lot of memories of that game. Worst loss of my life as a sports fan. I think I've blocked a lot of it out. Besides the drop by Samuel, the helmet catch, the entire Giants offensive line getting away with holding and Moss alligator arming a pass in our last ditch effort to pull the game out, I don't remember much.

I won't be nervous, but I will expect multiple heart attacks during the game. I have my affairs in order, including a will, just in case.
