Ordinarily the answer is yes, but since we have won SO MUCH, how many here will be nervous and how many will be completely calm watching this?

Even though I am in 'gravy mode' I will have butterflies. I can already feel them coming on now as we wind down to gametime. I will not relax until we march down the field and score, and god forbid we fall into a hole. I know They've proven over and over we should never give up and I won't, but it would be nice to have a relaxing SB for once. If we are clinging to a <7 pt lead with a few min left I will be really really nervous. Hopefully we don't need to watch another comeback either.

As far as having already won 5, I want Tom and BB to keep piling onto their legacies and also dancing on the graves of the other 31 franchises has been much fun. I know the trolling will be relentless when this comes to an end (or if we lose Sunday) but every time we win it so much fun and there is so little anyone else can say and so much material for us to use in response! For that reason I'm greedy and want more.

I’m not calm because I am satisfied with 5, I’m calm because this yam plays 60 minutes and often plays its best when the pressure is in late.
During last years comebavk my only thought was whether there was enough time. I saw the game in milestones, like if we score again with x time left, stop them 3 and out we should have x amount left and can score again, etc.
At some point I guess you could call it nervous because the clock could run out but that was the only reason.
Just as in the Afccg I always felt we had it under control, and wasn’t nervous at all.

Is this a serious questions?! Of course I will be nervous, every Pats fan will! Win this game, and we are tied with Pitt for the most SBs ever?! Cmon on!!!!!!!!! Lose and the media along with America will celebrate and ridicule TB12 and the team for months.

Yes. I feel we could win this game by double digits but it likely will be another nail-biter. I just hope we are not trailing by 10 or more points after the 3rd quarter.

I want the Patriots to win every game from here until Eternity.

Every game I get some nerves, especially Superbowls.

Of course I will be nervous. The question is do I wear my Edelman jersey. It came off at halftime last year - do I risk wearing it Sunday?

I’m nervous now. So, Sunday’s sure to be a tequila sunrise

I'm nervous every game but it escalates in the playoffs. I'm kind of am at peace now that we made it to the SB. Losing this one will of course hurt but 49 and 51 made me good going forward no matter what happens. The rest of the year will be great if we win....3 Games to Glory 6, the Superbowl 52 Blu Ray, The parade, the banners, hats and t-shirts, all of it will sustain through the banner raising next Sept. I want that. Yes I'm nervous.

The best part of the playoffs is how magnified every play is. Like in a reg season game I am not even slightly nervous until maybe the 4th quarter. Playoffs I am hanging on every first down, etc from kickoff til the end.

Nervous?? Maybe every time Gronk gets tackled.

I've done a FAR better job since the 2014 SB of enjoying the games instead of being nervous. Still, it's the Super Bowl so . . . yeah, I'll be nervous.

I actively work to calm my nerves during regular season games and not get a bad attitude about the game. Usually it helps to remember that falling behind in the 1st half doesn't mean very much - it takes a full 60 minute performance to knock out the Patriots.

Also, since the end-of-the-world loss, I've been much better about not getting bent out of shape when the game doesn't go in the Patriots' favor.

So, yeah. I'll be nervous and excited. It's the Superbowl. It's infinitely superior to add another title in the books than it is to say "yeah we were close X number of times to adding more rings."

I'll be nervous before kickoff. During the game, I will be nervous until one of the teams scores. If we score, I might be anxious that we'll keep the lead. If they score, I'm going to sit back and wait for the comeback...

So, it seems the case in which I'll be least nervous is if they get the lead early.

For whatever reason, the nervousness/excitement hasn't kicked in for me yet. I expect it will when they're introducing the teams.
I’m with you on excitement.

This is the least worried I've ever felt before a game. I was pretty nervous prior to the Jacksonville game, because I knew that they had the pieces to give us some trouble, and they certainly did in the first half. I also believed that they would play better and come out with a win. As talented and fast as the Eagles are, they just don't scare me. I'm convinced with two weeks of rest and preparation, the Patriots will play their strongest and most consistent Super Bowl start to finish this year.
