Who is your choice to be The 'X' Factor in this year's Super Bowl?

I'm hoping that Chris Hogan is the X factor. Dude was enormous in last year's run. Probably due to injury, he hasn't blown up for a killer game yet this year. I'd love to see him over 100 yards with a TD.

Offense: look to see Brady to Cooks finally hit the mark 6 rec 120 yds and two TDS

Defense: Gilmore with two ints one for a pick six and this will be the elandon Roberts coming out party 3 sacks and 2tfl

I think there's a decent chance that one of Cooks or Dorsett beats a CB on a double move for a big gain. Cooks had those 3 sideline comebacks against the Jags, so he kinda has it set up already.

I was wondering about this. Isn't the Philly secondary somewhat suspect? Someone posted somewhere else about them being vulnerable to the double move.

Just like how Malcolm Butler and Chris Mathews came out of nowhere to star in SB49, watch someone like Bademosi come up huge in SB52. Maybe Rowe gets picked on a la Arrington in SB49 and Bademosi comes in and shuts his guy down.

Regards,
Chris

I have put my money on Dion but it would not surprise me to see Chris Hogan have himself a monster game.
I will be happy with either, as long as the W is attained.

I haven't read all the responses but I am going with special teams. A fumble recovery on a punt or a punt return for a TD( by the Pats of course )...looking for Slater to have a great game !

As a fan here hoping that it's not another nail biter I hope it doesnt get that far

No one is going to predict it so lets say its randomly Devin McCourty.

Dwayne Allan will have a minimum of 80 yards receiving & two TD's.
Dwayne Allen, demonstrating incredible, sleeper, deep cover skills, will have 4 TD's , one throwing to Brady, and win Superbowl MVP.

To me James White is still an X Factor because Rex is ahead of him on the roster in terms of on the field snaps.

Burkhead received more snaps than White only for week-8 and for weeks 10 thru 12.

White's average snap count per-game-available during the regular season was 27.4; Burkhead's was 19.5.

White has played a lot of snaps in pass-pro while Burkhead did not.

In 2016, Hogan and Gronk (when healthy) were the "deep threats". In 2017, Cooks has more or less taken over Hogan's deep routes while Hogan has more or less filled in on Mitchell's intermediate-range routes, so Hogan's numbers were down from 2016 even before his shoulder injury.

Apparently, their corners and safeties play fairly aggressively, meaning they have been vulnerable to various methods of manipulation. During the regular season, a couple of opposing teams set the Eagles' corners up by running outside slants early in the game that became sluggos later (for big gains).

OTOH, Schwartz isn't stupid, so I'm sure he's made that a coaching point with his secondary.

RJF is another potential "X-factor" player. I could see Patricia scheming to get him free to generate pressures up the middle at key moments.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't
Nothing surprises me anymore.
And, welcome to the Board.
We have a long tradition of welcoming fans of other teams who are knowledgeable and respectful posters...the other kind, not so much.
