Kyle Lauletta

MVP of the Senior Bowl, I have to admit he looked good. Maybe too good from a Pats perspective, because he go in the second round now. I thin Hoyer sticks around another year and the Pats carry three QBs next year.

The kid loves lacrosse, and his father played QB at Navy, hard to see BB passing on him.

The buzz is out there. check this article out. Pretty interesting. Apparently the Pats have already paid a visit.

Saw this kid today during the senior bowl and he looked very good. I don't know whether he's a starter or backup but I do know this kid has Patriot written all over him.

NFL draft: Hey, New England Patriots, we've found Tom Brady's successor here at the Senior Bowl | Pro Football Weekly
Go hit up the draft forum. Guys have been talking him up over there. Good place to be if you like talking about prospects.

Kyle Lauletta

We’ve been talking about him in tbe draft forum. IMO his accuracy from 10-20 yards & ability to go through his progressions is as good as any QB in the class. Throw in his intangibles & Navy/lacrosse background, Jimmy G’s replacement fell out of the sky for BB.

He’s going to go in rounds 2-3 because of playing in the FCS & being barely above 6’2. Deja Vu.

Not sure what to think. I did a search on Lauletta and there are about a dozen different articles all published within the past week pegging him as "Belichick's perfect QB". Most articles compared Lauletta to Jimmy G, while another compared him to Brissett. To me, it sounds like lazy, copycat reporting, moreso than a legitimate buzz.

That article missed one important question. Was his uncle a left footed punter?

The Patriots like to focus on "the other guy" when scouting, like how they uncovered Duron Harmon in a Rutgers secondary that also featured Logan Ryan.

What I am implying, of course, is that Uncle Lauletta will be drafted earlier than Bryan Anger.

This kid or Lamar Jackson would make me very happy.

Jimmy who?

I agree, I think he goes in Round 2 at the latest.

It only takes one team to decide he's their guy. And the buzz is already building - no way does he fly under the radar by the time we get to the Draft.

In addition to QB-needy teams who'll draft one in the 1st round, there's a lot of teams with aging QBs who need long-term replacements, including us.

Steelers
Saints
Chargers
Packers?
Ravens?

So then you start to think, perhaps he gets picked late in the 1st round. After all, you get the 5th year option that way - and god knows we'd have loved to have that with Jimmy G.

I'd prefer, Mike White Western Kentucky. He is a pro-style QB. He has very good touch and is poised in the pocket.

He can throw short, mid and deep with good accuracy.

Senior Bowl:
White threw for 128 yards on 8 of 11 passing and completed the game's first touchdown pass – a 14-yard strike to Tre'Quan Smith of Central Florida. White also had a 63-yard completion to D.J. Chark of Louisiana State."

I see him as the Patriots 2nd, second round selection.

If they like him that much, why not use the 1st and have the fifth year option? I mean, that gotta be worth eight spots in the draft. Especially for a QB.

Probably just trade back I don’t think brady is playing 4 more seasons

I can see this kid here unless a guy like Lamar Jackson falls. It could be possible he falls.
