Timing was sweeeeeet, and that PD needed perfect timing. Credit Bortles because that pass traveled a long way yet it looked to be on the money. It would have caused the Patriots a pretty high mountain to overcome if completed (I'm not of the mind it was game saving but the hole would have been DEEP).
Btw, Gilmore was all over his assignment all day. It makes a QB have to look away to another receiver (giving more time for the pass rush to get in) or have less options outright. And if Gilmore doesn't overrun that one completion (and his coverage was great otherwise) he goes from likely the best D performer all day to the gold standard best D performer.
