Interesting thing is, if his hand has been hurting ALL season, Pats are in big trouble with the league, because it was never listed.

I’m thinking it’s minor, because I noticed he was throwing better last week than in the last few games of the regular season. He was throwing some beautiful passes. Maybe he hurt it late in the Titan game, I guess this week will be quite telling.

Really nothing to worry about. Jammed my hand many times playing hoops. Some swelling and pain. Lots of ice. He's got 4 days to heal it. Plenty of time. Of course he probably won't be throwing much next 2 days.

IMHO I think they should run the ball a substantial amount anyway.

Not nothing but if you have noticed during the past several week's games, he has flexed his hand a lot.

A couple of weeks ago some random insider said Brady has been playing through a broken bone in his hand for weeks, which perhaps has contributed to his subpar December. (We all know subpar for Tom Brady is elite for us normal human beings.) Certainly missing Waddle, Hogan, White, Burk, eg. has also contributed. Sure looked decent last week with 337 yards and 3 TDs.

Here is also some video from today's practice. Doesn't look too bad.



The only way he misses this game is if something happens family wise, God forbid. Otherwise he's in like Flynn.

If that video is after the hand injury then I don't think there is anything to worry about. QB's rarely catch balls when they're warming up/running drills. There's usually a WR or someone standing next to them doing that and then tossing the ball to them. If Brady is ok to be CATCHING passes during practice, I doubt if the hand injury is anything to worry about.

I'm far more concerned about Waddle coming back than Mitchell at this point. Cameron Flemming is passable for a third stringer, but he's still a #3 going against a very good front four. Waddle is no all-pro, but I'm more confident in him than Flemming.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but running against the Jags is the jags weaker part of the D? Fleming is a better run blocker than Waddle. So there's that positive.
