We're On To Jacksonville

Stop the run, keep bortles in the pocket with a spy and put him in 3rd and long. You do that and that offense wont be able to do anything.

and people here would rather be scheming how to defend Antonio brown, Juju smith, leveon bell and martavius Bryant?

I have more faith in our offense vs. the jags D and limiting bortles than I would having to win a shootout

We are going to destroy this team.
They are one of the 5 best matchups for us in the NFL.
B.B. will send bortles to a rubber room. B.B. defensive philosophy makes a guy like bortles worse than he normally is. We will take away fournette just like Henry.
Offensively Brady will pick them apart and we will run well. The offense only needs to score 17 anyway.

As well as Ramsey has played for most of the season, I'll take the Gronk vs Ramsey matchup.

Bouye could have success against Cooks. I could definitely see Cooks being held to 50 yards or under.

I love the Hogan vs Colvin match up.

Who deals with Amendola, who is in prime postseason form, as usual?

Who can successfully deal with the RBs in the passing game?

Additionally, Jacksonville's run defense is in the bottom half of the league.
When are you going to pay off the bet you lost? Kinda creepy hiding behind a different name.

Well said. Great minds think alike.

Pats open as 9-point favorites

It'll be destruction.

What happened today or yesterday is irrelevant. It's a new game and it's the AFCCG. Of course the opponent is tough, does some things well, can win the game -- that's why they are in the AFCCG.
The thought process doesn't change: coaches plan and prep the team well, OL blocks well, Brady makes good decisions and throws well to receivers running good routes from good play calls, Lewis/White/(Burk?) run well and catch well, front 7 D stops the run well and puts some pressure on Bortles while containing his running, the defensive backfield covers well.
If the OL blocks well I'm relatively optimistic that the O will put up between 20 and 30 points. If the front 7 D plays good vs the run (including against Bortles) and gets some a pressure here and there, I'm relatively optimistic the Jags can be held under 20.
How well any area plays on either team and what the score will be will be known 7 days from now.

Pats OL have to come up big for this game. Jags were getting constant pressure with just 4 men. Pitt did put up a lot of points but those were incredible plays on the deep throws to the receivers, the defenders were all over the receiver but the pass was perfect.

Stop the run like they did vs Titans, and i like the pats chances a lot.

I'll be on Jet Blue next Sunday. Do their TVs display live network broadcasts during flights....ie....the Pats game on CBS?

Outside of the game day threads that go in the opposite direction, this forum is like the old SNL "DaBears" sketch. Kellerman may have been on to something for once.

That's not not true but if BB were to play God in a round of golf, I gotta go with the coach on that one.
