What is Wrong with Brady? The Debate Continues...

Citing Paul Perillo as an authority does not help your case.
Didn't cite Perillo as an authority, cited him as a Patriot employee which I stated in my post. Perhaps the problem here in Patriots Fantasy Camp is a vision thing? Not only do you kids have issues with seeing the field and the actual game that's being played on it but apparently basic reading skills are also a challenge??

Depends on the avocado, I guess.

Why have you chosen to be a condesending prick?

You clearly positioned Perillo as a source of knowledge. Own up to it.

@Deus Irae Well that's an outright lie, FraudyPatriot. DI is one of the most pragmatic posters here, everyone knows that. Seriously, if you're going to make **** up, please be a tad more honest about your lying.
By pragmatic you mean using meaningless stats to avoid honest commentary about the QB?? Don't forget...... 75%!!!! :D

No actually Perillo is a media member who works for the Patriots AND EVEN HE acknowledges Brady is off his game. If Paulie can do it there is hope for Deus.
Own up to that!

You might have just moved to the region.

Just because someone is a media member it does not mean they know what they are taking about.

Perillo has a long track record in these parts of being the biggest alarmist of them all. He makes negativity seem like sunshine and rainbows.

I think you need to look at 4 things more closely.

Division opponents
Joe Thuney suckage
Injuries it WR

Did Brady suck vs BUF? Did Brady suck v Pitt when he went 9-9?

I'm sure he dinged up but I question if it is having a severe influence on his game.

Completion % is meaningless to a qb but Paul perillo is god. Too funny.

Everyone in the real world acknowledges Brady has not been sharp over the past 4 weeks, making poor throws, bad decisions etc but not here in Patriot fantasy camp. :D Deus you keep rolling out these meaningless stats and I'll keep watching the games and commenting on what's really going on.

Am sure being in the company of the ESPN talking heads and other hot take artists is a comforting position to be in.

Brady was 8 for 8 in the second half of the game. If you're looking for embarrassment, you can just check your mirror.

In a must win game that is tied at halftime Brady only attempted 8 passes in the second half. That's the coaching staff acknowledging that Brady isn't very good today and we need to get our running game going. Thanks Deus!!

I remember this same commentary in 2013 when bradys targets were relegated to austin collie, thompson and matthew mulligan. he only threw for 25 TD's that year and people wondered if it was the end...

then the next 2 years bill gives him actual NFL receivers and hes back to brady as normal.

Hes been playing with a #4 WR in dorsett thrust into a #2 role, no Gronk in one game, throwing to a guy in Britt who was just taken off the street and his 1a/2 WR hogan has been out.

I think if Hogan/Mitchell/Burkhead are back you will see brady of old because those guys will be where they are supposed to be

Actually, I don't recall using the 75% stat, though I may have. I believe that's been Andy. I've mostly discussed the ramifications of the 2 most dismissable INTs on his QB rating.

And I'm sorry that you have no football I.Q., and also that you can't grasp the English language well enough to understand that there's a difference between bad play, fine play and great play.

Perhaps a return to school would help you.

And, having said that, I'll leave this thread so that the mods don't have to clean it up afterwards, though I'm sure you'll be posting more inanities before it's all said and done.

Actually 9 bit he only needed to throw 9 because he completed all of them built a big lead and put the game in clock management mode.
I guess he’d be a better qb if he was 9/18 and threw incomplete passes so he would make more throws:rolleyes:

Brady, probably due to injury, doesn't play legendary.

People come out of the woodwork to proudly announce THEY have predicted its the beginning of the end, this is the cliff folks, you heard it here first! Pay ATTENTION to me!

They do it every year.

And sure, eventually they will be right.

But as of right now, RhodyPatriot is nothing more than the Rob Parker of Patsfans.com

wait... there's something wrong with Brady?

I can't believe there's 21 pages of this thread, most of which seems to be you guys ripping on each other.

He looks like a 40 year old QB at the end of a long season. The bye week will do him some good. Let's hope they get out to a big lead tomorrow and Hoyer plays most of the second half.

He looks like the best QB of all time who happens to be 40 at the end of a long season.

I swear people conveniently block out all the bad passes Brady has thrown in the past - like they never happened. People swear we should have won a SB in the 2006 season, because Troy Brown caused a fumble after an INT. And Brady threw a pick when we were driving at the end of the Colts game. I still think the loss of Edelman impacted how this team runs its offense, and has caused 3rd down issues all year.

For several weeks DA has been the de facto #2 WR. He is able to separate from lesser CBs, but not the top guys he has been seeing - at least on a consistent basis. If Hogan returns, we will get much better match-ups. Gronk has been going off, but some playoff team is going to make stopping him priority #1. And we will have to adjust.

Deus and crowd are the very fans that give all Patriot fans a bad reputation for being pom pom waving fanboy ignoramuses.

It’s actually the “fans” who have been 100% wrong for 17 years who give Patriot fans a bad name, and that means you. I believe the word for it is “assholes.”

I have my issues with Deus, namely how he interacts with fellow posters, but to call him a "pom pom waving ignoramus" is probably the stupidest thing Ive ever read here on Patsfans.com. He's literally none of those things, let alone all of them.

Congrats on that?

I think the return of Chris Hogan will do wonders for the offense. People forget Hogan was on track for a breakout season before his shoulder injury. you replace him with Dorsett who has done nothing and clearly brady doesnt have trust in.

the more good/trusted players you have, the better the offense will look.

Brady has been feeding gronk lately because he is the guy he trusts the most.
