James Harrison released

James is 39 years old - they let him go for a reason.
That's ancient for a LB/DE

From what ive read it on steelers forums (this was before his release), hes done. Hes a legend in Pittsburgh, there would be nothing better than him getting a ring here to end his career lol but it aint happening

Tennessee would make sense as far as waiver claim goes, with **** Lebeau being there and still being in playoff contention. I wouldn't mind seeing him here, if for nothing more than to see the black and gold pigscum fans blow their lids.

I would relish that like fine wine. Squealer piggy fans in an uproar sounds better to me than mozart

Or Nicholas Grigsby or whoever else they see at #53.

Grigsby already has 3 ST tackles in 3 games.

He's also 25 years old, 6001/225 with nearly identical athletic testing numbers to Harmon and Richards.

Grissom also contributes heavily on ST. Harrison would not contribute at all.

David Harris also doesn't contribute to ST. So, relative to a possible Harrison pickup, Harris would probably be the #53 man.

I like Grigsby.
I think James Harrison is more valuable than Jordan Richards.

I think the turd I left in my toilet this morning is more valuable than Richards.

Might as well. The defense sucks. Could use help.

Did he clear waivers yet?
Waiver claim might be best. If he clears waivers it's his option, he could refuse to sign with Pats, period end of story. Waiver claim he has no option, short of leaving the league.
