SIGN HIS ASS. If nothing else, just the intimidation factor alone will be worth it. I think he still has some juice left. Just needs some playing time. If he can still set the edge, that’s icing on the cake. We could use some more passion & physicality in the trenches.

Quotes from The COAT :

Could James Harrison be a fit for OLB-DE needy Patriots?
James Harrison was surprisingly waived by the Steelers on Saturday, but could the Patriots find a niche role for him?

"Very similar to how it's always looked over there -- very explosive, powerful guy, good pass-rusher, good edge setter, good tackler, instinctive player, tough [and] physical," Belichick said of Harrison before the 2015 season opener. "He looks pretty much the same as he has in the past. I know there is an age difference, but he's kind of defying that. He looks good."

Harrison, 39, has played just 40 defensive snaps all season for the Steelers. That begs the question how much he has left in the tank.

I'd be afraid he'd be a double agent sent to bring us down from the inside.

He's a professional. There were times the camera would pan to the defense on the bench, and he was always staring daggers at Watt.

Harrison can set the edge, which has been an Achilles heel all year, and get to the passer. He cannot help defend passes. I would sign him Monday and release Grissom (inactive vs. Steelers) and his 1 tackle.
Harrison can not set his edge. He is nothing more than a guy who needs to sell out as a pass rusher the end be below average as a pass rusher.
7 years ago, sure. Today no chance.

Even then he is a liability..
Seriously. Even then if the offensive players were also dead I question if he would take the right angle to make the tackle let alone react fast enough to roll the corpse out of bounds...
