Kraft admits he sold the team out

And no, I do not think Brady was guilty. I’ve always defended that. The science is clear to me.

Just curious, what’s your thoughts on why Brady likes kraft, if that’s even true. I do not know but based my response on thinking it was true.
Tom's gonna treat the only owner he's ever had the same, no matter what.

I do not believe that he or us blame Kraft for the actions of the league.

Kraft should have addressed the “scandal”
I strongly believe that Kraft's intention all along to protect and do what's best for the league, and even for the game, has totally backfired in his face.

But he does not in any way, shape or form realize this, so he therefore will never acknowledge it, and most importantly will not do anything in his power to help change the future for the better.

He appears incapable of admitting that he's ever been wrong about anything.

OK, his statement, "I made a mistake by putting my faith in the league" includes zero realization that doing so was insane in the first place.

A theory that Brady would be traded for doing nothing?

Montana was traded because he got injured, Steve Young stepped in and became a better qb at that stage of their careers.

I’m still trying to understand how Tom Brady would see kraft not help him with deflategate (Brady’s lawyers asked kraft to testify and he said no) then Brady should thank kraft for not trading him. Why would kraft trade the guy who brought him all of his franchises success?
It’s like saying Brady should thank Hernandez for not murdering him.
Long before Montana was having injuries Bill Walsh was basically forcing a QB controversy

This is all non sense. Jones had nothing to fight. His franchise wasn’t penalized. He didn’t like how goodell handled the punishment so he tried to be a bully and stop something he already agreed to. Of course he backed down because he had no case.
Show me the owner who had money, draft picks and his greatest players reputation taken away WHEN NOTHING HAPPENED who did nothing. Other than kraft.
Filing an appeal wouldn’t break apart the league. It’s a routine procedure.

So kraft was a bad owner for Parcells?
I give kraft credit for hiring belichick.

Belichick has already been offered a job. Had he taken the jets would be what we are.
Kraft is not responsible for the success. He doesn’t run football.

And he ran the guy who got him there off the job because he preferred Bobby Grier.

I give kraft credit for hiring belichick. Aside from that he has been a weak and poor owner from the perspective of his franchise and a good owner in terms of making himself money.

Okay then it's not worth arguing with someone who dug their feet in the sand this much. The people that were effected most haven't said anything that wasn't positive about Kraft and both of them still remain employed by him despite being regarded as the best in their field and could play for any team in the league they wanted. Yet somehow an owner who legitimately will go down as one of the best ever and who brought his franchise near immediate an unprecedented success upon arrival is a terrible owner. Have fun ranting while history and reality ignore you because you are too salty that a billionaire surrounded by more qualified people than yourself decided not to take a course of action that most people deemed futile.

Can ask though? Did it sting a little bit watching the last Super Bowl win and seeing the first person being handed the trophy the owner you think is irrelevant outside of one hire? Was it a bit of gut punch watching B.B. and Brady hugging him and celebrating with him over it? Weird how you have this crazy disdain for him while the people he sold out according to you don't seem to have that issue.

people just want to hate the guy......to the point of nearly insisting he had nothing to do with their success though without him they would not even exist

misguided anger since nothing was ruined and nobody lost a damned thing in the process

Okay then it's not worth arguing with someone who dug their feet in the sand this much.
I haven’t dug my heels in the sand at all. I’m looking at the facts. Kraft himself supports my view with his own words. The only difference is he thinks what he did is fine because “the 31” in his view SHOULD BE more important than the patriots and I disagree.
If you want to agree with him on that then there is no debate we just disagree on the objective.

The people that were effected most haven't said anything that wasn't positive about Kraft and both of them still remain employed by him despite being regarded as the best in their field and could play for any team in the league they wanted.
People stay employed for people and don’t publicly trash them despite feeling theyvlet them down. Happens all the time. I still work here so therefore my employer is perfect is a ridiculous conclusion.

Yet somehow an owner who legitimately will go down as one of the best ever and who brought his franchise near immediate an unprecedented success upon arrival is a terrible owner.
Well this is the debate isn’t it.
I disagree that he is the person responsible for the success. I disagree there was a high level of success before belichick. I think any owner hiring belichick and leaving him alone would have the same on field success and must would not have turned their back on the franchise for the sake of the 31.

Have fun ranting while history and reality ignore you because you are too salty that a billionaire surrounded by more qualified people than yourself decided not to take a course of action that most people deemed futile.
What does who is surrounded by have to do with anything.
There isn’t a debate any more about whether it would be futile or not. Kraft himself said it wasn’t about whether he could succeed it was about what is best for the 31.
Why are you making excuses that he isn’t?
You either agree he should do what’s best for the 31 or think he should have done what’s best for the franchise.
The fact that you have to make excuses to make it seem like he had a different reason tells me a lot.

Can ask though? Did it sting a little bit watching the last Super Bowl win and seeing the first person being handed the trophy the owner you think is irrelevant outside of one hire?
What?
Why would winning a SB sting?
When did I say he was irrelevant. I said hiring BB is the reason for the on field success and his spygate and deflategate handling, and his belief that the 31 are more important than the 1, make him a net negative rating in my view as an owner, aside from the BB decision.

Was it a bit of gut punch watching B.B. and Brady hugging him and celebrating with him over it?
Nope loved it. Very happy they could overcome the issues he chose not to handle.

Weird how you have this crazy disdain for him while the people he sold out according to you don't seem to have that issue.
That is in your crazed mind I’m afraid.
Judging him and his actions fairly based on facts is not having disdain.
It’s saying he let the franchise down. He knows that himself but he feels a bigger obligation to the 31.
What is it with you? Can you not see the flaws in what someone does without thinking that means you have to hate them?

Long before Montana was having injuries Bill Walsh was basically forcing a QB controversy
The beginning of the 1986 season was particularly ominous for Montana, who suffered a severe back injury that doctors at first feared might end his career. He confounded the medical professionals by returning to the game within two months. The 49ers went on to win the NFC Western Division title but fell again to the New York Giants in the first round of the playoffs, 49-3.

Young was acquired in 1987.

Leave it alone Andy. You're basically arguing with two jackasses that believe you can only Love Kraft or Hate Kraft. No middle ground. It's an all or nothing argument that has strayed into a Young v Montana tangent. Yay.

Here are your choices:

1. Love Kraft = Cannot criticize or mention that he acted like a coward.

2. Criticize his deflategate stance = Hate = Ungrateful = You must dismiss anything Kraft has done for this franchise or state or region.

3. Like Kraft = Great owner but acted weak and cowardly during both scandals. The first capitulation arguably led to the second.

Unfortunately #3 and other middling positions are not possible or permittable in this ridiculous argument.

Oh btw, If your kid gets punished in school by the Principle in a deflategate like manner ..... hug, praise, kiss and support the principle in public and in front of your kid. Because it's good to teach our sons that if you're going to lose a righteous battle it's better to capitulate like a coward. Holy **** Batman.

The only person responsible for all this acrimony is that coward, Scumbagdell. He's a piece of dirt and he better hope he gets that job solidified. If he ever hits the street and becomes a regular joe like the rest of us, I WILL hunt him down and confront him like the coward POS he is.

Joker. I think it's time Patsfans.com purchases a plot of land up in Prout's Neck Maine. A new base camp.

We could push every town law loophole to its limit. Clown flags a'waving. Speakers a'blaring. Week old dead fish a'steaming.

Man can I dream a dream or what..

You guys that are defending him realize that he isn't writing you into his last will, right? I like the pivot, though. You all went from: "He didn't screw up. There was nothing he could do. He's a great owner though because he bought the team a couple of decades ago and made some sound financial decisions based on nothing more than making some gains toward the bottom line", to now "Yeah he screwed up. He's a great owner though because he bought the team a couple of decades ago and made some sound financial decisions based on nothing more than making some gains toward the bottom line". So at least progress is being made with some of you on that front. You should feel proud of yourselves.

Taking a bigger picture look at some of the reactions and the absolute mental gymnastics to defend what is indefensible, "can-do-no-wrong" attitudes like this toward men in power are how dictators rise.

Yeah..........look at this "gem" right out of nowhere.

Like nowhere where intelligence exists.

Nowhere would be a great place because "contributions" like this would never make it "nowhere" close to well......anywhere.

However, censorship is how dictators rise.

Think about that when squealing like a stuck pig to Ian.

I'd buy a ticket...maybe you could do a Charity fundraiser/GoFundMe (for bail maybe).

Lmaooo. Just pure, unadulterated (you may need to google that one since it has more than two syllables) amounts of salt. Which rip dug at you the most? I’m guessing it was the one where I asked you if you showed your son the family plumbing business. You need a better outlet for dealing with all of this pent up aggression, my man. Since I know you’re middle-aged, I’m going to take a wild guess and assume you haven’t gotten laid in a little bit. You might want to take a ride down to the railroad tracks and see what you can find. They may charge you top dollar as I assume you’re morbidly obese and have the face of a Picasso masterpiece, but it’s better than allowing a 31 year old from Florida to get so deep into whatever is in that head of your’s that a drill bit couldn’t bore him out. Stay salty, my friend.

Here is a photo of Goodell from his childhood:
