I smell overconfidence and it emanates from the top with Tomlin - for example speaking of being the best and even speaking of the Patriots game 3 weeks away.

The difference between worst and best is small enough that not fully concentrating on bringing your A game every week/the task this week can be fatal.

Pitt will still win this game but Tomlin's difference than BB is on display.

Good point. My theory on that is the best teams are maybe only 5% better but being 5% better every play adds up to a huge advantage over time if you play up to it. If you lose your edge just a bit suddenly there isn't a difference.

All it takes is a few players to lose concentration on a few snaps and BAM! 60 yard TD, BAM! fumbled punt BAM! dropped key 3rd down pass.

Suddenly you are no different than the bottom of the NFL.

Cooks and Hogan if he's healthy are going to absolutely destroy that Pittsburgh secondary

Hope Hogan is back soon. The offense has been good without him but today it turned into too much of the Cooks/Gronk show in the passing game and that is limiting. Amendola is good but not a guy you can depend on every week to get 60 yards. Ideally he is a guy who has a few huge games and the other ones just gives you those key few grabs. I am worried about him being rested for the playoffs at his age.

Hogan back would maybe not score many more points but it would just make the offense look smoother and have to force less and give Gronk and Cooks a break which be nice.

I darn near didn't bother turning this game on. If nothing else the Packers have made it a great game to watch and got my hopes up at times!
