2018 draft . prospect consensus thread

How do you feel about running here a consensus thread to have the general board idea of selected prospects at each position? If you think it makes sense I can try to run it. We'd need everybody's help here notifying me of their assessments and changes of opinion in case I miss it in other threads. I wouldn't go by names bc I don't think that's important + we know who we are. I'll include those “grades“ that come with some conviction and substance and are made with regards to the Patriots - “Pat Type“ more or less.

To simplify it and not make it too “expert“ Id keep +, -, % (mixed)
Everyone can correct me if I misread something or check with me what certain grades stand for..
If you think posters names SHOULD be incl. .. probably I can try..
If you have ideas how to make this more useful / transparent etc. let me know
And of course if you think some prospect name should be added please notify me as well
(usually i add those at least two posters mentioned, discussed)

Might be a bit premature mid-season but “pro-rates“ the work..

Average hight of QBs drafted by BB: 6'35, 228. Smallest was Garoppolo. This would suggest concentrating on 6'2 guys or taller. Smaller guys have issues with short passing over DL as this season proves again)

Interesting -- like a crowd-sourced grading system for Patriots prospect? I don't think we've ever codified the draft efforts like that before. I'm in.

Great idea. Our own forum board would be cool around March-April after compiling the consensus sentiment data. Could vote in a google doc or something.

CBS Sports has him number one overall now. Interesting Bedlam Game with week with a sub-plot of Rudolph vs Mayfield.

If he runs a 4.6 forty, we need to have him on the radar.

I would take this mock in a heartbeat. All 4 players could contribute from day 1.

Evans already knows most of our defense and would be excellent as a Hightower backup.

I've been on a DT/RUSH double dip for weeks.

Also regarding the QB position, there's no lock we find Brady's successor this year.

It's not something that "just" happens bc Brady is closer to retirement and we traded Jimmy.

The main focus should be on finding the right guy. Not any guy. And there's no guarantee hes in this class.

I like Clayton Thorsen......if he were sitting there at 64, I would take him in a heartbeat
