Thursday Night Football: Dolphins vs. Ravens... urgh...

Suh could get suspended too. He tried to kill Mallet, literally he grabbed by the throat, lifted him off the ground and shook him. After Mallet had the temerity to talk back to him after Suh hit him late.

He also speared the Raven's OL guy who jumped on Alonso in the head.

I've met Don Shula and interacted with him and his team on a personal level. I was the guy that FED the entire team their pregame meal at the Biltmore in Providence in the mid 80's. He actually wore that ****in' 17-0 diamond studded ring everywhere, even 7 a.m. steak/mashed/egg/pancake banquets. I was in pretty good shape back then...6'2" 225. Looked strange in a tuxedo doling out sirloins and maple syrup. Shula made a wisecrack that they should sign me to contract and, as I cannot keep my mouth shut, I replied I'd only take offers from the Pats. He actually took that monstrosity off his ring finger and let me see it up close. That biatch was one heavy piece of jewelry.

Why would I, Joe Kerr the crazed Dolphin hater, lower myself into servitude of the reprehensible mammals? Money, guys and dolls. I got 15% of the total bill on all the meals served to the Phins during their stay. In the mid 80's, pulling 2 grand in a tuxedo was considered nirvana. 100% true story.

After that smackdown I bet NBC regrets not flexing out the Dolphins/Raiders game next Sunday. They should have swapped it with the Donkeys/Eagles game.

Dolphins finally getting the results they have been deserving even most of last season without those lucky bounces and opponents ****ting themselves for no reason.

Good.

Not quite understanding the confusion over who to have rooted for.
Priority 1 - whatever helps the Patriots quest for the AFCE crown->Bye->HFA.
Priority 2 - spite.

While Priority 2 definitely applies to Harbaugh and much of his team, Priority 1 doesn't significantly apply (not yet anyway). OTOH the Phins have Priority 1 AND Priority 2 applying to them, fully so. The score tonight was the right score/the right outcome.

Up next for Priority 1: Bills v Raiders.
The half way mark hits at the end of this weekend. Beat the Chargers + Bills lose = Patriots being where they should be at midseason, alone at the top of the division and will remains so over the bye.

Blount HATES Suh.

Blount. I get hes never returning here, but I loved this guy. Classy and a true Patriot. If he wins a ring with Philly I would cheer, even if they beat us. I want NE to win their 6th of course, but Blount winning one more would at least help me cope, even a little.

I didn't watch this trainwreck but WOW was I surprised to see the results.

In the franchise all time winning percentage category this helps the Pats.

Dallas .573
GB .569
Chicago .566
Miami .564
NE .555
Minn .543

Pats are 481-385-9
Brady 188-54
Before Brady 293-331-9 .454

.454 would be right between the Jets and Saints. Hopefully the teams above NE can do a lot more losing in Brady's remaining years. It would be unreal to go out first in franchise win percentage. I grant it's really unlikely for that to happen but we can hope.

I watched a little of the game. Didn't realize that the Dolphins were such thugs (who'd have thought they'd look as bad as, or worse than, the Ravens). Flacco looked really hurt and Suh is an absolute turd.

Will The NFL deal with these clowns harshly ?

Gonna go troll the Ravens boards with a Kiko Alonso jersey avatar see how those dipshits like it

And who else had no idea Kiko Alonso was some white guy?

After the hit, Jim Nantz said: we can see the look of confusion on Flacco's face…

No I couldn't; Jump Ball Joey looks like that all of the time.

I'm probably the only guy on this board who thinks this but of all the rotten apples in the Ravens barrel, I actually have never had issue with Flacco.

At least the quotes and pressers I've seen of him: rarely any BS, rarely whines, pretty much a 'I didn't get cheated, the other team beat us, next question. He's like the anti-Harbaugh.
I also believe he also didn't buy into the Brady deflation nonsense. If I recall his lone quote, it was somewhere along the line of 'every QB likes the football a different way. next question'.

I may have missed Flacco on other quotes and pressers but what I've seen he is alright for a Raven.
