Didn't know Hightower left with a shoulder injury. This guy's so injury prone. Hope it's nothing serious otherwise they're screwed.

He is a LB. Every game are multiple car crashes. The way he looked at the sideline he will be fine. I rather have his injury issues than Kuechly with his about to be scrambled brain.

Falcons fans were talking **** about the AFC East before the year started. They are 0-3 with 41 points scored against those teams
The entire fanbase is delusional. ****y before SB 51, ****y during SB 51, thought theyd repeat as NFC champions and thought they were the next dynasty.

The Patriots make it look easy, but it isnt. New England has damaged both Seattle and now Atlanta.

Wake me up when they stop playing the zone blitz. I will never make the mistake of worrying about them again until they change that. Brady is just too good at destroying it.

Haven't they played more man this season?

The number thru 7 games has now improved to 23.7 points allowed per game.

As expected we will most probably end up somewhere in the neighborhood of the usual 21 points allowed BB defense. All of this has happened before and all of this will happen again.

So I guess this D has some talent (plus some injured talent as well)..

Lombardi said Pats D has 4 major issues: communication, 1st down run D, and 3rd down plays on O and D.

They cleaned up nicely the first two in the last couple of games.
They certainly made a statement on 3rd downs O & D tonight.

major clean up done, better energy shows . now let's build up on this

I do wonder if they are better off without Gilmore. If the communication issues come back when he returns, he may not be long for this team...

Solid performance in all three phases. Definitely a confidence booster, well deserved win.

so the big question, im sure not a lot of people are going to want to hear.

Is the defense starting to Gel, or is removing gilmore from the equation letting the regulars get back into a rhythm?
All I care is about us playing better, no matter who is starting. So if it means Gilmore gettin he demoted, so be it.

That ain't happening. The guy's making big bucks and I have extreme confidence that he will turn it around. Let's not forget his last game.

For those that "marked this as an L" and even 'no way the Patriots can win this game with this D', you just gotta feel a bit silly right now.

Look, this game was obviously never expected to be a sure thing for the Patriots, far from it. The actual outcome being lopsided was, I suspect, unexpected for most (it was to me). I bet the majority of PF felt the team's 2017 struggles meant this certainly could be an L, it could be a tough one to grind out, but a game we were certainly capable of winning. So for those that spoke of this game as almost certainly an L? Not only were you wrong but you did so by disregarding obvious facts in order to build ATL into this unbeatable boogeyman that in 2017 they clearly and unambiguously have shown they are not.

The Falcons coaching was brutal tonight, Dan Quinn was coaching like he still had Super Bowl demons in his head, going for it 4th and 7 at near midfield, wtf.

And loss of their OC Shannahan is effecting them as well. They were avg like 34pg last year and they got like 40 totaled in last 3.

LOL, are you familiar with his contract details?

30 1st downs earned on 8 drives.
Great surgical offense.
Some great moves and throws by Tommy + 4-man rushing extravaganza.
(not easy to adapt to 4 different RBs in one game..)

Agree but we need to get more efficient in the red zone on offense. Fortunately there is still a **** ton of potential for improvement with the players we have.

The scoring drive before half time was just beautifully executed by the team and designed by McD. The calls, time management and execution was near perfect.
