I hate this team. They're going to give me a heart attack.

I love this team.

You and me both, I went through a major depression period when we lost in 07 after that magical run. Took me months to recover, and I am in my 20s so I am not sure how much my heart can take.

It'll be unpopular here but I think the refs blew the touchback call.

Yes, the ball absolutely was loose before the ballcarrier crossed the plane. However, I don't think it's possible to tell where he re-established control. Therefore, since the call on the field was a TD, it should have stood.

I'm obviously happy it didn't, of course.

I agree with you. While I think they got the interpretation of the rule right I just dont see a 100% clear shot of where control was reestablished. Without that you kinda have to stay with the call on the field and not speculate even if the speculation makes a ****ton of sense.

The whole team played badly Until the Jets went up 14-0. The defense played well from that point until the Pats went up 24-14, then started to play a lot of quarters, some three man rush, some soft cover 2. A few players blew some coverages and they almost blew the game. The O went very conservative.

Division game. 4-2. It’s a work in progress. The progress is slow.

I agree, we played so poorly, then the offense started making plays and the defense started to make plays and the pick by Butler. I just wish we could start a game strong on both ends of the field.

Some people were in fact wearing red-white-blue jerseys and pealed them off to reveal green undershirts.

You obviously agree with the call and I do not.

I really wish they would fix some of these defensive problems so I can relax a little more during the game, but hey a wins a win and I can relax now, can't believe I'm saying this but I hope the Steelers win!

I just saw the play for the first time and I concur - he MIGHT have had it before landing out of bounds. But he lost it with one hand and got it with the other - so it was probably loose longer than we realize from the view I have seen.

The problem with that is what happens when the opponent puts better players on the field? The team loses like against KC and Carolina. They need to acknowledge they didn't play at an acceptable level defensively and get better to have a change against actual good offenses later on.

NO put up 52 today. Only 20 v. Pats. They lost on the last play to Carolina. They were beating KC in the 4th in a damn TNF game. It’s not as dire as you make it seem.

This team has a major focus problem

Talent is not the real issue

I'm assuming you haven't watched a single minute of a Falcons game this season.
The Falcons have their own issues - and we could be the Packers.

Also the throw was on the move by McCown with A. Butler inches behind him. It was a great throw.

It's funny how many "nothing you can do about that, it was just a great play" passes the Patriots seem to give up.

This rule has been discussed many times in the past. It's probably one of the most unpopular rules in the game. But it's a rule and has been called quite a few times.
And the one time it wasn't called but should have been was the Ben Watson play on Champ Bailey in the playoffs in 2006....

I felt like puking for weeks whenever I accidentally had images of the helmet catch, Asante's failed INT, Eli escaping a sack etc. Funny thing is I've never been as stressed out by games since, as I knew I could NEVER feel as bad again.

And I am more concerned about our offense than the defense based on the last two games. One of the two is trending into the right direction compared to where they were 3 weeks ago.

The defense gave up a career day to a 38 year old journeyman and you think they are trending upward?
