That was a curious call by Matty P on that 4th and 12. Usually, the Pats go into deep a hard shell coverage and force the QB throw underneath and then converge. Instead they blitz Butler and give up the big one

Another reminder: after scoring two touchdowns very early, the Jets were held to 3 points for the remainder of the game.

The defense has played well for the most part in the last two games. The offense is more of a headache to me.

Even in their best, Super Bowl winning years, the Pats have at least one squeaker with the Jets.

The mediots will point out that the Pats allowed another 300 yd passer, but TWO 3 and outs by the offense was the real culprit

That was bad. Defense had good moments but also that 50 yard wide open pass in crunch time was dreadful. Also 30 yards on 4th and 12.

I'll take the W happily...onto the Falcons. We can't lose another home game can we?
