One of my favorite things about football there (sports in general I guess). Got that manly lump in my throat too lol. Felt like I was watching the end of friday night lights and watching the dad go hug his son and put his championship ring on his finger.

In NE, we're spoiled having gone from Adam V to Gostkowski and expect a reliable kicker. We b*tch about Gost missing XPs every now and then but he is among the best at FG %...
Philly hasn't had that since David Akers left and it has been a turnstile for them at the kicker position. This kid has a chance to stay long term if he can continue being reliable. He has his coach's trust and confidence...
Ask fans in SD err LA or Tampa what it is like to have a kicker who costs them games....

And yeah, it is a great feeling watching your kids perform well on the sports field...

Yes, Philly fans (lived in Phily for 30+ years) are always at the extreme. They are great when things go their way (beating Dallas) but horrific when they don't. I would hate to see that scene if he missed a FG that determined the game.
