Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Week 2 Pats @ Saints

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

This is looking more like the Pats team we all know. Not that 8-8 looking team last week.

Digest of Rules Main

Intentional Grounding of Forward Pass
  1. Intentional grounding of a forward pass is a foul: loss of down and 10 yards from previous spot if passer is in the field of play or loss of down at the spot of the foul if it occurs more than 10 yards behind the line or safety if passer is in his own end zone when ball is released.
  2. Intentional grounding will be called when a passer, facing an imminent loss of yardage due to pressure from the defense, throws a forward pass without a realistic chance of completion.
  3. Intentional grounding will not be called when a passer, while out of the pocket and facing an imminent loss of yardage, throws a pass that lands at or beyond the line of scrimmage, even if no offensive player(s) have a realistic chance to catch the ball (including if the ball lands out of bounds over the sideline or end line).

I already admitted I was wrong. I just wasn't thinking.

Damn near perfect start for the Pats. This Saints team looks like garbage though

If thst was 2nd and 6 they would of taken the penalty - Romo

Ok guys. For real?

Nice one!

I wanna see consistency on this D. Laser focus

Chung's bad hands have me worried with him fielding punts.

No one on Earth can do what Brady is doing so far in this game. 2 TDs with the pressure he has been under each play. The D is throwing everything at him and the OL is getting trucked. He is painting a masterpiece so far in a blizzard.

Yup, the OL has been shaky. The TD drives have been in spite of them.

Foot meet throat this drive... LETS GO

you’re* - but I agree with the overall sentiment
Uhhhh. Let's put a period at the end of that sentence, but I agree regarding the contraction.

And we are back to the alternate programming here on the board. Either freaking out about losses or downplaying wins because the other team is crap.

I've never seen us run so many reverses
