I know you need a QB but for a guy that used to be an offensive coordinator, Houston does not have an offense since BoB was hired. I mean not even a bit of creativity. I think he is a garbage coach. Three 9-7 seasons in the worst division of the NFL.

Calling a very limited offense tonight because that's all they can do with Watson. Don't want to have him try to do too much and make a big mistake in the process. Looks like his keys are very simple, not doing much more than ID'ing the Mike which is why you're seeing all those near picks. He has no idea who's blitzing, who's sitting,

Yeah, that's definitely a real risk, especially behind this line. I dunno how you can expect a guy to lean to go through his progressions when he's getting piledriven a second and a half after the snap; seems like a great way to cement bad fundamentals in a run-first QB. But I'd bet O'Brien came out of week 1 thinking "Savage is ****ing terrible, and he's going to get me fired if I stick with him." Short-term decisions get made when jobs are at stake.

Seems fine to me. In the backfield on almost every snap, which is the big flaw in his game. You always want to encourage him to over pursuit then ride him out of the play which is what we usually do.
