Let's not overreact

People in Texas are losing homes, forced to relocate etc. Disaster. Meanwhile, TB woke up to a supermodel today. Btw he's a millionaire. Ditto other key players. Just thought I'd put things in perspective.

Outside of the 75 yard bomb which was 2 players playing different defenses, a mental lapse, not inherent defensive issues, in the first 3 quarters KC had 8 drives. 6 of them totalled 20 plays 42 yards a turnover and 5 punts.
The defense was fine for 3 quarters. The 4th quarter was a disaster.

Everything about the defense stunk last night! They gave up a td before the first half. It will get better eventually but it was an embarrassing performance.

I think you're overreacting a tad, no?

KC if I remember correctly had one single drive of over 90 yards all of last season, they doubled that night. Maybe we're overreacting a tad but the defense was horrendous last night. Big play after big play, on the ground and through the air from an offense who just isn't known for that.

Ah, the old "real life is hard, this is just a game" argument. That really adds to the discussion and breakdown of the game we're talking about.

Overall it was. But through 3 quarters, aside from handing away a TD for to miscommunication (discounted because it's not an issue of how they played defense but a uncharacteristic mixup) the defense was fine.
If you want to put your head in the sand and say because the 4th quarter was as bad as it gets that means retroactively the first 3 were worse go ahead.

Well its true.

Hard not to think that Brissett wins that game to be honest. Instead we had Dorsett who did nada.

It took me 2 years but I finally get it...

EDIT: Thanks @Froob now I am getting the downvotes because other people dont get that I am getting your sarcasm.

One last thought:
I'm glad Andy Reid wasn't coaching the Falcons when they went up 28--3 in February. Even Reid's legendary "time management" skills wouldn't have been enough to keep his players from winning.

Not sure why you randomly decided to go off-topic, but rest assured, I've never lost a bet in my life.
You bet @BaconGrundleCandy on the maywether macgregor fight lost and have been ignoring him until you just showed up here.
Why won't you pay him?

Well its true.

And this furthers this football discussion how? It's a statement of fact used to make you guilty about the discussion without anything new. It's a cheap tactic used by people who have nothing to add but who likes peeing in everyone else's Cheerios.
