R.I.P., Adam West

Somehow I missed all of this, the 60's were very busy for me(college, work 2 jobs and 1st marriage) & more than a few parties and TV was something watched little of..

What point am I missing? The poster I quoted called West the best Batman. That's not even close to being true.

I saw an Internet headline that West had sex with eight women per day.

I can barely manage talking to eight women per day.

It's practically unfathomable for me to imagine.

I didn't click on the article itself. It may have been an isolated incident. But still it beats my record by approximately seven women in one day.

I can remember, it was my sophomoire year in college (1966) when Batman the TV show was Must See TV at Charmichael Hall. Literally hundreds of undergrads would pack the reception area where there was a TV, to regale themselves trying to get all the satire, puns, and pure camp in a 3o minute show. The concept was so novel that it had a great iinitial impact, but it quickly faded, and by 1969, everyone had made Laugh In the new big thing.

I'm always telling you that you don't look your age but you always open your mouth and gladly admit exactly how old you really are. I on the other hand wasn't even a thought yet when this TV show originally aired, but felt a tinge of pain to hear of Adam West's passing the other day. I constantly watched him as Batman on reruns as a young child. Batman has Always been my favorite superhero and still is I love everything Batman and think the Dark Knight movies with Christian Bale were quite amazing. Though I've always been a fan of the mutant Xmen, So for me at one point he was closely rivaled by Wolverine who seemed to grow more popular with every year I grew older from birth. I still must say When I think of Super Heros I think of the iconic image of Adam West and Burt Ward in the Bat Mobile which I added to to top of my reply.
