It's going to be interesting to see Ainge trying to get all 3 of those without losing core players over the next couple of years. Can/will he find a way to keep Thomas, Bradley and Smart, while upgrading at the 3 and 5?

Upgrading at the 3 you don't like Jalen Brown's upside??

I'm in the minority here, but i take Ball. His game is suited to the NBA and he makes players around him better. I think his vision and basketball IQ make him to good to pass up.

Either way if we take Fultz or Ball, the question is what do we do with Thomas.

Not a question. IT is a no brainer re-signing.

Ainge has got to use this pick on the best available player. George is a nice second tier star, but he's not worth a number one pick. You can't trade a potential franchise player for a guy in their mid 20. And no Hayward or Griffin. Neither of them are max contract guys. I do not get the fascination with Hayward. All you are doing is trading offense for defense. And paying a cap crippling max contract to do so. Hayward plays zero defense. Keep Crowder. You can always do a sign and trade if you don't want to resign him later. There are no free agents this summer worthy of a max contract who are attainable. Short of going hard after Curry (which wont happen anyway) instead of overpaying for a player who is not worth a max contract wait a yer or two until a real max guy becomes available. You still likely have another top three pick next year as well. It is not out of the realm of possibility that we could draft two All Star/ franchise caliber players in the next two years and build a dynasty. Take the chance on youth and build something special.

Still need that big man. You can't be an all guard team......or can you these days.
Fultz is the future, this core won't be hanging the next banner. Jaylen and Fultz for days...

Hayward is 100% a max guy. A much better player than Crowder.

I wouldn't touch Ball with a 10 ft. pole if I were the Celtics. Fultz all the way.

As a Nets fan (lol), let me say congratulations, you're welcome, and death to Billy King and Mikhail Prokhorov. Take Fultz and don't look back.

My condolences. That has to be the worst trade in NBA history.

29 year old whose game relies on quickness...not a no brainer. If someone offers a big haul I may be inclined to take it and start Fultz day one. I'd like to rip up IT's last year if possible and offer him 3 years at max and let him go at 32.
My condolences. That has to be the worst trade in NBA history.
Were they aware they could protect picks lol? The Wallace trade wasn't nearly as devastating but, made a lot less sense. They weren't headed to the playoffs and could have signed him outright lol. Not to mention he sucked anyways. Least when the Lakers gave up a bunch of picks they did it to add Nash and Dwight to Kobe (who was still balling hard at the time).

We're going to find out real soon just how far away we are, I say go young and build the next super team. We are multiple pieces away from beating the Dubs.

or best.. kudos Danny.. (Actually Red still holds the 2 best trades in NBA history in my opinion, especially when you count the flags.)

Russell was an incredible steal and we gave up two Hall of Famers for him. Along with sending the Ice Capades to town lol..

The trades that landed Magic Johnson, James Worthy and Kobe in LA were more lopsided than the Brooklyn trade (especially the first two) and candidates for the best/most unfair trades in NBA history.

Except for the whole part where he launches his shots from chest level and he's going to get the **** back in his face when he's playing with men instead of boys.

I think it's personal preference. Would you rather have Jason Kidd or Russell Westbrook. I take Kidd
