Bill Polian: Pats are not that good

He's right, they've given us what like 3 good quarters of play in the Super Bowl the past 3 years?

Oh and in hindsight, is it possible ATLs man defensive schemes combined with the Pats' inability to beat said man coverage led to TB12s shaky performance until the D tired? Couldn't be that right?

Yeah we struggled against Atlanta, but we didn't have our best weapon in Gronk. Polian seems to forget that. What an idiot.

Just to add to the comedy: that was in response to a question about whether or not the Bills could compete with the Pats in 2017.

There are a dozen or so meth heads and drunks who hang around outside of the Verizon Center here in my home town, talking trash about the local teams, too. I don't pay much attention to them, either.

This guy is a wonderful advertisement for the quality of human being that makes up the bottom half of NFL ownership.

Going to log off now. This isn't good for my chi.

The Patriots certainly didn't look prepared for man coverage. This forced Brady to hold the ball longer than he should have which led to some of those big hits in the first half.

that and not having gronk to open up the passing game.

Of course they aren't. Any given Sunday and all that. Still, they are better than any team that blowhard put together.
That blowhard put some of our teams together. And rode Matt Cassell to the playoffs.

I know we have this fantasy in this region that everyone who leaves our teams, for whatever reason it may be, must be and retroactively always have been a bum with no brains, but Polian was a very smart manager, not least because he listened to Belichick.
