Not sure he said he's the GOAT based on the tweet. I'm pretty positive, whatever his private feelings are, that he'd say that's for other people to decide. Also, that he's still trying to improve and get better.

I think it's fair for us fans, especially Patriot fans to call him the GOAT. Pretty much everyone but true haters and Joe Montana think he's the best.

I really don't get the point of this patsfan.com article. Not sure he's reminding us of "him being the GOAT" and this Instagram post is three days old, which in the world of social media, is ancient.

The comments on that post are just vile. I'm always amazed at how classless people can be.
Agreed...I feel like I have to take a shower after reading some of that nonsense.

I agree. That is one helluva manufactured thread title right there.

Unbelievable. I wonder how many would post such crap if they had to show their actual names when posting.

The internet provides a protective screen of anonymity that enables this uncivil behaviour...the kind that's usually kept in check in real life. None of those cretins would dare to air these comments openly if they couldn't hide behind their usernames. Heck, that's true of half the posts we see on Patsfans itself.

Internet anonymity is the scourge of our times. I suspect (and greatly hope) that evermore websites and the internet as a whole will tend in the direction of making cyber identities more authentic. Quite a few sites now require authentication of user's social media profile before allowing edit access.
