Dont get Crazy Manx hahahaha

I said "more", not thinking he'll get all the way there

Michael Lombardi is on record saying that though.

Really quite pleased with the way our RB depth chart has coalesced for the future.

Awesome!

Reason to post this:

Anytime someone posts this gif, I can't imagine a more appropriate reaction than simply clicking the "winner" reaction button

Fantastic. What a news day, I can hardly keep up! Awesome to see them reward the Super Bowl hero and keep him in the fold for a while... love the kid, he seems to be one of those "perfect Patriots."

That's Burkhead, White, Lewis, Bolden, plus Gillislee most likely.

Something has to give right?

White is better than people here give credit for. He is one of the best 3rd down backs in the NFL and not just cause he is with New England he is just plain good at catching, route running and pass blocking and can attack all parts of the field.

Also this year he clearly improved as a runner. I think he is growing into a mans body and it is showing some. He was a decent enough runner and got tough yards this year at times.

Lewis is signed pretty cheap isn't he? Why just give him away? It sucked when Brandon Bolden became the recieveing back when Vereen got hurt in 2013.

I'm believing more now the theory that Lewis could be included in a Butler trade to NOLA.

BB bucking his trend again? He let Woodhead & Vereen go but kept White.

Good to have sweet feet back.

My dream NOLA/Pats Trade

Butler, Chung, and Lewis for

The 32nd pick, and Kenny Vaccaro.

We all know the reasons for the Butler for 32nd pick.

But I think Vaccaro would do amazing things in this secondary. Just as good, and at times, much better then Chung playing against the line, but he is one of the best SS in the NFL in the slot ( he can cover just about anyone). At only 26, he's playing on his 5th year option and next year NO will still be somewhat strapped for cash next season, and extending him will only work against them. Chung is signed for a good price next year, and they cost almost the same this year. Them trading for Chung (in theory) wouldn't be much of a steep down (they both seem to have up and down years, and him and Chung graded out equally last season) Plus they get lewis.

To me that would be a dream come true

Yeah, like the other teams' defenses. Those five backs plus Gronk, Edelman, Amendola, Mitchell, Hogan and Cooks. That's 11 veteran skill players who can catch the football. Eight of them have at least one Super Bowl ring.

No, he wasn't.

Yes he was.

4.3 in the regular season this year and rushed 6 times in the super bowl for 29 yards (4.8) and more important made the key runs for the a 2 point conversion and 2 TDs

He was serviceable when not ask to run the load up the box and run kind of O which he will never be asked to run here anyway.

He was decent enough for a 3rd down back. Not good. Decent enough. I know he was bad when he first got here and that seems to have carried over to influence the opinion about what he was last year and what i think he will be from now on.

Burkhart would most likely be the backup 3rd down back now or DJ Foster rather than Brandon Boldin.
