I've heard this "doesn't show up in the big games" stuff, but it seems to me that the simple fact is that, by the time you get to the playoffs, you're playing against REALLY good run defenses.

I re-watched the Pittsburgh playoff game and the Steelers were penetrating into the backfield time and again. I don't care ... you could be Eric ****erson but there's not much you can do if you can't even get to the line of scrimmage.

The fade I saw was the fade of the OL vs. better DLs.
Blount was taking his first hit behind the LOS more often than not.
