More Kraft stupidity - there "should be" a team in London

Does Antarctica get a team too? That would be some home field advantage.

I am sure they will have a dome.
Then pump in some crowd noise and shut off the air conditioning if you want a homefield advantage.

Will the players be paid in real money or European Monopoly money

Haha. Otherwise known as the Tottenham Hotspur.

Whenever there is talk of a London NFL team, I immediately think of this family guy episode. If they move a team there, we need a petition for this to be the team name.

Not sure why they don't go to Canada. Hell try to get the Argonauts to just join the league.

Toronto only makes sense as an NFL location. It would be a great geographical rival to Buffalo, it's only 100 miles away and maybe Detroit which is about 200. Not that those teams wouldn't do what it takes to keep a team away from there.

Political forum is here for that...

There is really only one logical candidate for Canada and that is Toronto, but the problem is that area would be infringing on a couple other teams - notably the Bills and Lions - which are already not doing especially well at the box office. Unless the Bills themselves were to move to Toronto, I just don't see any way they can squeeze a franchise in there.

I suppose Montreal might also be a candidate in terms of population, but I do not think a football team would succeed there.

Fair point on Bills and Lions but, what about Vancouver?

considering flights to london are as long, if not rarely a little bit SHORTER then flights to Seattle i dont see the big issue.
London to Boston is about 500 miles - and 2 time zones - further than Seattle to Miami. The problem is that London to Boston is your shortest trip. Imagine playing the Broncos, Rams, Raiders, 49ers....

This will never work. In fact I hope they do it because I want to laugh at their hubris when it is epic fail. Free agents are not going to want to go to London.

Double post - apologies

The problem isn't for east coast teams that have to travel there, but west coast teams.

east coast teams have to travel to Seattle every year.
