It's easy, and only takes a few moments.because it may be part two of the Cooks deal (the 32 comes back)Well, then the Saints aren't getting Butler. The Saints have to give up their first for signing Butler as a RFA. Why would the Pats accept anything less?
LOL, wait and see.Well, then the Saints aren't getting Butler. The Saints have to give up their first for signing Butler as a RFA. Why would the Pats accept anything less?
Prior to last year, Gilmore was a top CB in the league. The Bills' defense sucked last year and couldn't pressure the QB and obviously affected him too.
it might be part of the deal the two teams made? (trading the 32 back for Malcolm)
Tender-gate here we come.Florio is saying you aren't allowed to sign a RFA with a tender with the intention to trade them...It'd be pretty obvious at this point but NFL rules are so arbitrarily enforced..
It would be funny if mevis's back here again lol. He doesn't have to be a number 1 here.
the thing is I have a feeling this is part 2 of the deal between the 2 men.If the Saints deal isnt breaking the bank could BB say sorry Sean and decide to match?
My question is would BB do such a thing.
Especially if Butlers pref is to stay in New england

It makes sense isn't 98% sure of something with no proof.Because I can't be 100% sure, but it makes too much sense.
Sweet!Tender-gate here we come.

They'd be doing us a favor in my opinion, keep the beast!Correct - see my post here: Butler visiting Saints
It's very blurry. You're allowed to trade with player's and NFLPA's permission. But there's not supposed to be any "wink-wink" type of arrangement.
Arbitrarily enforced? It's the Pats and the Saints. We know exactly how it's going to be enforced.

...and not to get too stat geeky he allowed a Qb rating of 70
Exactly.
The poster I was responding to implied that Malcolm was worth more than #32.
Its a balance with these things. Contract status, age, system. Malcolm is a top 10 CB IMO. Is that worth more or less than #32 I dont know. Maybe?
we would lose Cooks tooThey'd be doing us a favor in my opinion, keep the beast!
No we wouldn't. That trade was executed separately...we would lose Cooks too
I wouldn't put that past Goodellwe would lose Cooks too
