You're dead wrong, 12th time is the charm on that zone coverage. It's sure to get Brady this time.No. Just, no.
Eh, at best it's neutral. He obviously doesn't like what's on the table. The longer this drags..the better for us
You really have to give the Jets props on this one. They are currently finishing up a batch of green cupcakes with the white number 6 on them for their next useless QB arrived from Chicago. In a genius salary cap management move the team has decided they will turn the stale cupcakes upside down when notorious playoff choker Tony Romo visits next Wednesday.
Word has it Woody has promoted the baker that came up with this brilliant idea. He is now the assistant coach. More to come........
Or hes holding a grudge
No. Just, no.
And why's that? Because HT's not built to play zone (3-4)?
haha...should change the thread title to this.Or "The Watchtower"??
This really looks like HT stalling for time.
Why do people keep implying that after you win championships they mean less to you?If he leaves for more $$..can you blame him? He won 2 rings and last big pay day.
That being said..i don't see him leaving. The longer this drags..the better for us
There is no reason at all for him to hurry.I think Hightower is just enjoying the process and taking the time to make the most important decision of his life. He knows there are multiple suitors, he now probably knows that his market value isn't as high as he initially thought it was and he also knows the Patriots are willing to at least evaluate if they want to match the offers he has/will receive.
With all that information, he would be a fool not to explore the market to its fullest. He is the top LB on the market and he seems to be controlling the market. He owes it to himself to take the time to make a sound decision. I don't think this whole thing means that he wants or doesn't want to move, all it says is that he is willing to explorer his option and that he will use the leverage he has to get the most money he can from whatever suitor. Could be us and he seems to have agreed to come back to BB with any offer he might get, might be someone else.
I want Hightower back as I view him as a very valuable member of the defensive and as a key team leader. However, I understand this is a business and that he might move on. If he does, we will have to do our best to replace him. We have BB and BB has proven in the past that he usually takes the right personnel decision. We have to trust him.
