Elway is really overpaying for some mediocre players (Watson OT, Peko DT). He paid Ronald Leary nearly 9 million a year as well.

For that amount, there is no excuse why Bill didn't sign him. He's not a pro-bowler by any means, but he gives whatever he has, is smart and versatile.

All we have at DE is Flowers, Ealy, a washed-up Ninkovich, and……...nothing.
