If that were the case he would have signed someone like Brandon Marshall. What BB is doing is taking an old receiving core and giving Mitchell some young company to take the Pats into the next decade. Cook can ball. Butler couldn't cover him all summer.

I'm totally behind it though. Cooks is going to be great in NE's offense... I think Hopkins may be better but Cooks' speed is going to kill defenses.

How do you cover Cooks going deep, Edelman intermediate, Gronk down the seam and Allen short, and Dion/White as the checkdown? What defense can match up with this?

Browns have a ton of cap room. They may not mind paying a little extra to pay Butler as a 1A corner (My personal feeling is Butler is a 1B). Could it be Jimmy G and Butler + something else for Myles Garrett?

You guys made out really well in this deal. I loved having Cooks with us, but I'm glad he's going to BB and Brady's offense. He's going to be a star in that offense. I would have liked to have gotten Butler in this trade, that's for sure. We need that star CB to strengthen our D. Oh well. Looking forward to watching Cooks with you guys. Hopefully we make use of that #32 pick.

It's quite the pipe-dream, but I'll bite: as great as Myles Garrett may be at #1, Bill trading back from #1 overall multiple times might be an even more attractive option. Imagine a couple of 1sts and 2nds in such a deep draft.
