We keep Butler, this is awesome. I like this trade, but I do not love it. Here is my reasoning:

First of all, I think we payed a lot for him. This is a loaded Draft and we lost some important picks.

Secondly, He was complaining in NO for not getting enough attention. BB won't stand that ****

Thirdly, We've seen (good and bad) WRs struggle here. I don't think it will happen (NO had a complex system and he did more than fine), but it's something to keep in mind.

And lastly, but not least, We only have him for a year in a cheap contract, then we have to activate his option (Big pay increase). Then we have to re-sign him and Star WRs are not cheap. Whoever we would draft would be here for 5 years (at best)

In any case, the good points are much more important than the bad ones. And Butler stayed. He is a very good player on an excellent team

Are you thinking that BB is expecting a 1st to come back for Butler? It could just mean that we really are ready to ship off Jimmy for all we know.

I don't know what the hell to think.

I believe the contract situation between the team and Malcolm - coupled with the Gilmore signing just makes the work environment too difficult.

On the other hand, I'm not sure a team is willing to give up a 1st AND sign Malcolm to a big deal.
