OT: Browns set to cut RG3

This is a guy who could have had a nice career (short of his draft expectations though) if drafted by a decent team with a decent program, which are rare in the NFL , but I guess a combo of Washington + Cleveland + a bunch of injures is too much too overcome.

He was going to be cut anyway. I don't think it changes anything either way.

Playing him on a bad knee is probably what killed his career before it had a chance to really start.

Good talent but too fragile to play the way he played with that frame.

He needs to follow Vince Young up north.

all things considered, rg3 might be the biggest bust in nfl history

I wouldn't go that far to call him a bust, when healthy he was pretty good, especially that rookie year and then the injuries started piling on...he may need some time off from the NFL to recover from all the injuries and then make a comeback as a backup and work his way up. Just like Vick...

This was the key move for the JAG trade. The Patriots can now trade JAG to the Browns, and bring in RGIII to become Brady's successor!

the skins gave up what? 3 first rounders??? he's definitely a bust

Griffen is a diva who wouldn't last a day under BB.

Sign the beast!............oh wait, it's not one of those threads?

RGIII was amazing as a rookie. I wonder if it was the injury or if teams just figured him out in the film room. I know he lost a lot of mobility, but during his rookie season he was good even as a pocket passer.
