It's not even daybreak on Day 2 of FA and that's your take?

I'm just still stunned at the money Mike Glennon is getting from Chicago. It makes no sense, he sucks. I'd rather go with Matt Barkley if I was them, at least he's got some talent. But Jimmy G would've been perfect for them.

What is his source? Is it 1st or 2nd hand (Yee?)...if it's Pats management would you be so sure? Then I guess you missed his multiple interviews in the past years where he emphasized again and again how important backup QBs are. Otherwise you'd realize that the Patriots are in a position with all the leverage in the Jimmy situation because they can just hold on to him for one more year.

Nothing has surprised me so far. I said I figured no team would be stupid enough to give a first round pick to the Pats for a one year rental of a guy with 85 minutes of meaningful football experience and so far that has played out. Maybe that will change but I doubt it.

If Brady has a good season next year, I believe JG will walk and the Pats will get the comp pick. I do not believe the next Patriots QB is on this roster unless Brissett shows a big step up next year.
